  2. Now, open Registry Editor and go to: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpClient
  3. Then, change the value for “Enabled” to 1. It simply means that the NtpClient provider is now enabled in the current Time Service.

Active Directory Domain Services Time Source

Firstly you need to find out that whether your client is using ADDS time source, and for this you need to examine the REG_SZ value. Below we explain a few simple steps which help you in resolving the issue.

  1. Open Registry Editor and move towards the: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Parameters\Type.
  2. Then, carefully check the value REZ_SZ.
  3. Now, if the value is set is set to’Nt5DS’ then it means that the user computer is synchronizing their time with the help of Active Directory time hierarchy.

Note: if it is not the same, then you need to connect with the Admin to get it correctly configured.

Once the users are syncing with the KMS server, then this activation Error 0Xc004F06C should be easily resolved.
